Turquoise Compass started out as a travel and lifestyle blog inspiring people to follow their internal compass for a happy, healthy, and balanced life, as Jessica documented her around-the-world travels as she backpacked solo to 22 countries. Jessica always dreamt of visiting her dream turquoise destinations and through manifestation and hard work she made it a reality and it changed her deeply to her core. When she returned to Canada, her journey was far from over and she was intuitively called to make some big life changes and take some big leaps of faith.
As a natural born educator, leader, and lover of travel and adventure, the name Turquoise Compass encapsulates everything significant in Jessica’s life and connects her passions well. Turquoise being considered one of the most balancing and energetically flowing natural gemstones on the earth with an abundance of symbolic meanings is the perfect colour to represent Jessica’s business and her vision. Not only is turquoise her favourite colour, it also represents who she is to her core, her favourite places, and the significant people in her life. The word compass has many meanings, but ultimately represents trusting the journey and process to the destination, regardless of direction, detour, or storm along the way. Turquoise Compass goes beyond its literal meaning and reflects a lifestyle and community of likeminded people who are willing to take risks and flow through life’s greatest challenges.
Turquoise Compass Wellness evolved and grew from Jessica’s travels to over 30 countries and her experiences living in different locations. Her love for the east coast paired with her work experience, trainings, and life experience blended well to create a welcoming wellness space for people looking for support through life’s journeys. She created Turquoise Compass Wellness so that people do not have to journey alone.

At the request of her students, small businesses, and wellness providers, Jessica started offering a variety of non-commitment virtual and in-person mentorship and coaching services. She works with clients on a one-time basis, while also offering support that helps people with their goals long term. Her background in Education, Doula work, yoga, and wellness has allowed her to help a variety of individuals and start-ups with their business, ideas, and products.
